Will Tom change my website on its own?

No. Tom can read your site's health, logs and settings and prepare a fix, but nothing changes until you or a team member approves it. Every approval is recorded in your audit log.
How are my backups protected?

Sites are backed up every day to encrypted storage kept separately from the server, and each backup is kept for 30 days. A restore point is also taken before risky changes such as updates. You can restore from your control panel.
Is moving my site free, and will my email break?

Migration is free and can resume if it is interrupted. You preview the copy before going live, and only your website's A record changes. Your existing email and other DNS records are left alone.
What's the difference between shared and cloud hosting?

Shared plans host 1 to 25 isolated sites on tuned servers shared with other customers, from £6 a month. A cloud server is dedicated to you, sized by CPU, RAM and storage from £10 a month, and can be resized later.
Where are servers located, and who runs AutoToast?

Servers are in Germany and Finland. AutoToast is a trading name of Autothink Group Limited, registered in England and Wales (company no. 13994278), and contracts are governed by UK law.
